I had the pleasure of meeting these folks last month and photographing their sweet little family. We made this session a lifestyle session to capture them doing what they do as a family … read, play, laugh, hug and love. Max is 6 months old and a real cutie pie. His personality matched his bright yellow shoes perfectly — all happiness and sunshine — and they both look great in pictures! Clearly this is a family who love, who enjoy each other and like to make each other happy. I love that kind of a family!
What a nice time at Mines Falls in Nashua, NH, we had! It was hot, but the shade of the woods kept us comfy and cool. It was a pleasure to spend time with this family!

Last month I made the trip to Mines Falls in Nashua, New Hampshire, to photograph two families. This first family I just adore. I’ve known the Daddy for a very long time, and I’ve been photographing his family since he had his first child, almost 5 years ago. It’s been so wonderful to watch them grow as a family, now with two children (a girl and a boy, in that order!). This is our first time venturing into the woods for a semi-lifestyle session with lots of candids and a few posed portraits too.
Stella (don’t you just love her name?) is a real girly girl. She’s all sugar and spice and is a true delight! And Sam is a great little guy who loves running and playing, and although he may sometimes be reluctant to show it, loves his big sister too!
What a fun time we had! I love knowing that I’ll be seeing them again and have the chance to watch them grow!
Our path may change as life goes along, but our bond will remain forever strong.

Last summer I was so honored to photograph the wedding of Leigh and John. The celebration took place at Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport — in the barn, and it was lovely! Fast forward several months and I get a message that they were expecting a baby! Woohoo! They enrolled in my Moms & Miracles program — 5 sessions for one price — that documents the baby’s first year from womb to one (sounds so Elmer Fudd-ish!). It’s a special program that shows the growth and all the mind-boggling changes of a little one in that first very fleeting year.
Anyhow, I adore these two so imagine my excitement at photographing them again, along with their growing family! I’m happy to report that this baby has already been born and photographed too! More of those images later. First, here is Leigh and John on their wedding day.
Well, that wedding was so much fun that we thought the Farm would be a great place for their maternity photos as well. It was a lovely spring evening in June with a sunset that didn’t disappoint! Leigh’s baby bump was the star, and we had a great time!
Such happiness awaits this couple, and I’m so happy that I can play a small part. Like my Facebook page to be sure and see pictures of their sweet little guy …. coming soon to a screen near you!

I met this woman years ago at a Seadogs baseball game that was also a fundraising event for ALS. From the first time we said hello, I really really liked her. You know how that happens … that instant connection and that instant fondness. I photographed a family wedding for her not too long after we met, and as the years went by, every now and again we’d touch base. This last time we communicated it was about photographing her and her extended family in celebration of her sweet mother’s 90th birthday. 90!! How wonderful is that??? The party would be held on the fourth of July in her mom’s backyard.
It was a delight to spend an hour with these folks and be a part of a very special birthday for a very lovely lady.
The advantage of being 90 is that there are a lot of people to love.
